Team lost focus with all the playoff discussion. They haven't played consistently the last month, and ran into an offense that could make them pay for all the unforced errors.

Not a good start but there was 59 minutes and 54 seconds out of a remaining 60 to do what you need to do and we were borderline pathetic the rest of the game.

Our young qb needs to be able to check down on these blitzes.Big difference watching him run the play he's given and being a guy like Teddy,calling out the blitz packages for his line.Oh well,maybe the coach will let him get to that point that he trusts him more.

The game was lost in the trenches pure and simple. This offense has more than enough skill players to overcome 7 points with a full game remaining.

Houstons D line manhandled our O line from beginning to end. 11 sacks, numerous tipped balls. 7-8 false starts.

I've wondered all season about the KRs that BP puts back there. They are about as atypical as it gets - neither Williams or Dawkins has good change of direction and both take too long to get to top speed or, are afraid to hit a crease hard.

Clearly kicking short to Williams - and later in the game to Dawkins - was planned by watching their lack of explosiveness on film. When Samuels went back there any kick in his direction was out of the end zone.

I've wondered all season why either of them are put back there to return KOs...as you stated, they both lack explosiveness and are they very hesitant, also.
