College football coaches are complaining about too many offers being handed out.
Bo Pelini's solution? Every offer comes with a National Letter of Intent. A NLI the recruit can sign and immediately be committed and signed to the school (and the school to the recruit).
Pelini believes and other coaches agree, this would drastically cut the number of offers handed out and would make schools be VERY careful before they actually offered a scholarship.
