The Blu Love begins

Based on what I saw last night, I might pick Kentucky to win it all. Still the most talented team.

Really they beat overated kansas team now they are the team to beat LOL!

UK didn't even beat Kansas. I want some of what Wolken is smoking. We have no frontcourt whatsoever and as great as Ulis is, playing him 40 minutes a night is a recipe for him hitting the wall.

But despite what the scoreboard read after the game, Eamonn Brennan of ESPN still declared Kentucky the victor of last night’s contest against the Jayhawks.

Blaming foul trouble and sheer exhaustion as the only reasons Kentucky didn’t come away with a win, Brennan also had high praise for Tyler Ulis, who had an impressive 26 points, eight assists and three steals.

Calling the Wildcats play as “inspired and fearless,” Brennan wrote:

“Yeah, sure, Kentucky didn’t actually win. Here’s the thing: No one wins at Kansas. Ever. And John Calipari’s team was incredibly close. If not for foul trouble and sheer exhaustion, the Wildcats might even have pulled it off.”

This was actually really written you have got to be crazy Uk can never say the media is bias towards them evr .

It's no joke that Calipari starts out every year (with 1 or 2 exceptions) the most talented college basketball team in America. His job is to get his young guys to play hard and he has become really good at this.

It's a much easier task to perform than what say, Rick Pitino, Tom Izzo and other grinders have to do but give the Squid credit. He keeps his kids focused on anything but smashing his fat tanned face and that's something. Not a coincidence the NBA first rounders year after year.

Kansas isn't overrated, if they are it's not by much. I don't think Kansas can win it all. But they did beat Oklahoma in the game of the year so far. If they can play like they did against UK and Oklahoma consistently, they'll be a threat.

KU is 147-3 at home in their last 150. They've proven to be a paper tiger in the tourney more often than some of the other elite teams, but man, they are tough to beat at the Phog. They look too flawed to make a deep run in March on neutral courts, though.

uk was practically gifted that game by Kansas. I mean there were so many missed free throws by the jayhawks in that game. Anyone claiming the cayuts fouls were being called unfairly didn't watch the same game I did either. So much for Cal claiming everyone else hacks/pulls/grabs other teams. Cal has his team playing the flop game too and the refs aren't falling for it as much this year either. The fouls were justified. Kansas didn't use the same tactics and stayed out of foul trouble but had they hit their free throws uk would have lost by 10 in regulation. Anyone claiming the cayuts should have won by 10 are flat dumb.

KU outscored UK from the foul line 30 to 13 and missed 17. UK missed 9. I didn't watch the game so I have no idea if the fouls against UK were justified or not, but the boxscore strongly suggests the free throw line is where KU won the game.

I wont mock the players for losing at #4 kansas,
however,

the nerve, audacity, and HYPOCRISY of big blew fans is so laughable.
Crying that the refs cost them the game !!!

The tired mantra of ;'No wonder kansas has a homecourt winning streak'
You can substitute SuCkS on that mantra!

Check a mirror lately scat fans. Pot calling the kettle black.
Now you crybabies know how UofL fans feel every other year in Lexghanistan.
SuCk it.........

Kansas is still good. Are they playing as good as earlier? No,but so what.UK is improving as we speak. They're both good.

I guess I don't really care at this particular time.Other worries.

The officating is so inconsitant is becoming a joke. Never know how the game will be called from possession to possession

I did not watch Kansas against sUcK so I can't comment about the officiating in that game but from what I have seen this year from the officiating in the games I have watched it is bad. I think the referees have ruined the game this year and has made the game a whole lot less exciting. In regards to the comment about UL playing Kansas in the tournament I would welcome it, we currently play in the toughest conference in the country and playing Kansas is no big deal. Now if we were in the SEC where the men play in the girls league it would be a big deal.

How do we really know if SuCk is getting better KU is the only competition they've played since us and they lost. They play knowone until the tournament.

Completely idiotic. Gifted??? Funny stuff bro. Were some of the fouls warranted? Of course! But to the tune of a 47-22 margin?? The most fouls called on a team at AFH in over 20 years?? LOL!! UK has had a single player foul out maybe 2-3 times total all season. Never more than 1 in a game, yet we foul out 4?? Yeah, gifted, that's the word I'd use.
