In my opinion the ACC has a great chance at putting 2 or even 3 teams in the Final Four. I think the NC State/Louisville winner should win the East Region. Duke is the favorite in the South and if UNC knocks off Wisky then they would stand a good chance against the Arizona/Xavier winner. And don't count Notre Dame out even though it would be a monumental upset for them to make it out of the Midwest.

What is the record for most teams from a conference in the Elite 8 and Final Four?

The ACC is 11-1 at this point I think? That's one helluva winning percentage. Luckily for other conferences, at some point ACC teams have to start facing each other and one of them has to lose.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I know the Big East did have 3 teams in the Final Four a few years ago.

This is a CardGame type of question. He is the very best I've seen regarding sports trivia. I have no idea what the answer is.

2 teams from the same conference is not unheard of
3 teams is very rare... Big East did it in 85 when 'Nova won (G'Town, St Johns)

To my knowledge, there has never been all 4 teams from 1 conference...
