UK has a very good defense and a physical running game. Their weakness is no passing game. No passing game got them today.

I'm not badmouthing them, they'd beat the crap out of us right now.

I think this game exposed UK’s one dimensional offense. Wilson excuse me RG3 cannot move the ball down the field through the air with any consistency.

Stoops made several bad calls down the stretch... not calling timeout and trying to outthink the room in overtime. Hand the ball to Snell.

UK has a solid football team this year though.

Good team. Maybe their best in school history. They will go 9-4 or 8-5 this year and no one will notice or care outside the morons in Lexington.

The real question will be can they maintain after this year. They have several studs that will be playing on Sundays next year. Allen is probably a top 10 pick. Snell is possible first rounder. Several more will get drafted. Who will they have to replace them? Rebuild or reload?
 
The answer to that is a quick and simple no. No historical precedent and they lose every key player they have. Mark stoops didn’t suddenly learn to coach either.

Obvioulsy Texas A&M is a very tough place to play, Clemsom barely escaped this year. Uk’s defense is pretty damn good, and they have a solid running game, but my God their qb is hot garbage.
 
A&M has lost two games those were to Bama and Clemson

We also opened at +6.5

Don’t get me wrong I expected to win but 5-1 going into the bye with Vandy and Missouri very winnable games before we play Georgia is solid right now. Just couldn’t take that next step last night. Sad
 
The cayuts first game this year versus a good team was last night. UF sucks and so does Miss State. Oh yeah UF is improving under a brand new coach and the cayuts are lucky they ain’t playing them next week. Besides the UF QB also still sucks. Almost as bad as the cayut QB. Snell is the real deal as are a couple of parts of the uahkay defense. Vandy will be easy but Missouri not so much. Other than UGA the east sucks . . . . Again. Yep they should go 8-4 or 9-3 this season despite their idiot head coach.

on the road, against a national championship coach and if their qb doesn't take the sack they've got a chance to win. their team has been the better team in every game they've played so far and if they played us today we'd lose by 21 easily. they didn't score because a&m is actually good on D. uk is just as good on D. the OP is simply jealous and imho, it's going to suck when they roll us at the end of the year unless a miracle happens on our side. i find no reason to hate on uk at all besides simple fear that they'll kick our butts. i've seen msot games in in every one they controlled the game. oh how the tides have turned int his state. one good thing, my uk friends hate coach mack because he';s so good and they cannot find anything to rag on him about. they hate him because there's nothing to hate about him and it drives them nuts. so at least we got that going for us, lol

They are really solid. I really wonder if they are playing the right QB. You put a passing game with their run game they would be really tough to stop. Their line is really good, Florida and Miss St maybe be average on offens, but their front 7 is legit. UK handled them. That is why you give it to Snell on 3rd and 2 in OT.

Their defense is legit with a bunch of experience.

They will probably end up 9-3 because the rest of the schedule is easier and they match up with everyone else.
 
I’m a huge Kentucky hater, but they have a decent team this year. They lose all of the key components after this year, so they will be back to the old Kentucky next year. South Carolina showed that if you can make Kentucky throw, they’re in trouble.

Theyre in the SEC. Especially since the East has been abysmal the last 4 years.

Its mainly the fans. Ummmm the few who actually are engaged in SuCkS football while most are Bama fans.

After FINALLY beating UF, they were booking SEC CG tickets.

Not going to bad mouth UofK. For the first time in a very long time they have a legit top 20 team. Maybe even top 10. I watched them last night and was impressed with their defense. They are loaded with NFL talent on the defensive side of the ball. Benny Snell on the offensive side of the ball is a NFL RB in waiting. They also have several linemen who will play on the next level.

UofK is legit. No bashing from me. Not this year.

We had more in the stadium than Kentucky did in its season opener, you know, before the bandwagon fans came along. And GT would do the same thing to y’all that they did a couple of years ago.

Actually I think for the most part UofL fans here have been pretty complimentary of your football team. Read all the posts before you flap your gums and make generalizations. And don’t steal the term slapdicks from us, try and be a little original.

That is false. You would be lucky to have had 5k people there. We had 30k for the first game haha. I don’t think GT would put up 600 yds of rushing offense on us. How many passes did they throw? 2?

JUCO QB U actually has a nice team. Got to give credit when credit is due. But, that A&M pass play where it deflected off the hands of one Aggie into another Aggies arms for a td, I thought, that’s so UK.

I agree 100%. However, I can take no joy in them losing. Why, because we are even a worst team than them! Coach Bobby Petrino and his coaching staff have taking us to a place even worse than UK football!
