UofL is not a top 15 team. The first time a top ranked opponent comes to UofL this year and UofL looks like a JV team.

Well it was an embarrassing home loss. There is no sugar coating that. How the team responds on Monday and against the other top opponents will tell the tale more clearly.
It looked even worser in person . Embarrassed so bad i left 6 minutes into the seconf half. This team hasn't beat any of the top teams they've played so far. Going into February and Rick is trying to get this group to play defense is not a good sign.Going forward, It's hard to be excited about Mondays game could possibly be another blowout but odds of playing that atracious two game's in a row at home kinda quell that. I HOPE man i'm debating about goiing and just staying home and doing the tv thing or give tickets away..

Way to support the team for the whole game.
Blowout , 3 point loss, road or home, losses are going to happen.
You learn from them and move on. You cant let VA 'beat you twice'.
You also as a fan support the team thick and thin.
This team doesnt have good enough defense, so it has to come through the
offense. Thats the challenge Coach Pitino has to figure out.
The interesting thing about this team is we all know the team D is really below standard for the last 5 years plus, but the Cards entered this game #2 in the country in defensive FG %. So yes there is room for improvement and it will happen by March. The staff will have to figure it out... Better rotations, Adel more minutes (pre season talk by Rick was "he's our best defender"), and Mango back in rotation especially in defensive situations. The lack of quickness in the backcourt is really an issue defensively though.
Adel is a stud, hang in there, he's going to help this team immensely the remainder of the season. When he gets back 100% he'll make us that much better. Only a manner of time!
I think most of us saw this coming. This team only beat Va Tech because Lee and Lewis caught fire from outside. This team needs to play defense a whole lot better to make any type of deep post season run because tough minded defensive teams can and will shut down Lee and Lewis like UVA did yesterday. If the Cards can't match that type of defensive intensity then they'll lose.
Bounce back game tomorrow night? I don't know. UNC appears to be the best team in the conference so it's going to be a tough game for a bounce back win.

Was RP wearing his white suit in the first half of a Pitt game maybe four years ago? They were getting beat so he changed during halftime, I think. I blame the suit for yesterday's disaster. ;-)
