Just wanted to tell you guys that in all my years of following the Clemson football program, my experience in L'Ville was over the top. Last Thursday I witnessed my 514th Clemson game since 1964. I won't bore you with the list of venues that includes but I've shared game experiences with every ACC school's fans, the majority of the SEC, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Stanford, California, Ohio St, West Virginia, Oklahoma...........you get the picture. Without hesitation, I say bravo to you guys for creating the best visiting fan experience ever for me and many of my friends in my 50+ years of following the Tigers. Over the past 4 days I've heard hundreds of Clemson folks say the same. I am so glad that y'all are in our division of the ACC, and I can't wait to come back to UL in 2017. This old Tiger is now a U of L fan whenever you guys play anybody else. You should be proud of the way you treated us. I hope you experience the same friendly rivalry whenever you visit us for an athletic event or any other reason. Again, BRAVO................and GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right back at ya RJ, my experience at Clemson last year was 2nd to none and I can't wait to go back next year. We're all pretty proud of the 'Ville glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for these nice comments. Would you have sent these, though, had the Cards pulled out the win?

Thanks so much. Two of the better fan bases around. You all are always welcome. Met some great Clemson fans while tailgating and on the party deck before we went to our seats. Peace my friends!

I think he meant to say: "We're glad you enjoyed your experience. When you return in 2017 we fans will show the same hospitality, but we hope that our team keeps you from repeating the perfect experience you enjoyed this time."

Absolutely. As I stated originally, I've been around a while. Winning is always more desirable, but it has little effect on common courtesy and sportsmanship which should be exchanged after an athletic contest is over. Many fan bases apparently don't understand that. Thankfully, the vast majority of Louisville fans and, I believe, my fellow Clemson fans are decent intelligent folks. Come see us in the fall of 2016 and then you be the judge. Go Tigers!!!!!!!!! Go Cards!!!!!!!!!!!!

RJTiger74, I appreciate reading posts like yours. It really does put things in proper sports perspective.

When I lived on the East coast many years ago, I had the pleasure of going to a Clemson game before I ever knew anything about the pregame traditions, and I was simply blown away. I highly recommend to everyone to make it a bucket list item to go see a home football game in Clemson, South Carolina. You won't be disappointed.

Fun little fact, John Heisman (yes the man the trophy was named after) coached at Clemson for 4 years from 1899 thru 1903. He compiled a record of 19–3–2. That's and 83% winning percentage. Pretty cool stuff.

Thanks so much Tiger. And can I say ... we were just returning the favor for how we were treated by your gracious fans last year.

No one can tell the future, but it is my sincere hope that our fans on both sides remain gracious when UofL starts winning their share of games in the series.
