Though there were plenty of ups and downs, it was another successful season and I want to thank each and every player who made that possible. I also want to thank the coaching staff for doing things (what I consider) the right way. I am very proud of the academic all-American who played his last game for the Cardinals today. He represented himself and the university with dignity and honor for 4 wonderful seasons. Wayne Blackshear, YOU are awesome!! L1C4 isn't just a catch phrase. It's a way of life. You will forever be a Louisville Cardinal.
Thanks to the rest of the kids too and I'm already looking forward to the next chapter of Louisville basketball. What a really good year! One win shy of what I would have called a great year, but this one was still very good. I'm content.
