I must confess that in hindsight, Josh did everything possible to bring UL basketball back to where we belong with this hire.
There are never any guarantees when hiring a head coach in any sport, but at this time it appears that Pat is as good a hire as we could expect given what we know now.
The decision by Scott Drew rejecting UK, serves as evidence that our effort to bring the Baylor coach to UL was a worthy endeavor, but his rejection obviously had nothing to do with UL or its offer.
