This looked like it was going to be a good game. The Cards started the scoring with HBP, SB and single. Later inning came a dinger. 2-0
Temple went W, W, dinger. 3-2 Temple. We later scored on a HBP. Sloppy game.
N. Burdi came on in the 9th to preserve a 4-4 tie. We are now in the 11th.
Our pitchers have 12 Ks and 3 Ws thru 10. Bad news is that 2 of the 3 scored.
Chitty on 2nd with one out in the top of the 11th. He got on via IF hit and was sacrificed to 2nd. He stole 3rd and continued home when the catcher threw it away. We scored another via error, sac, sb and scored on a fielder's choice.
Now if we can hold them in the bottom of the 11th.....we will have played small ball to the hilt.
