...and this is a little OT. Of course, a U of L basketball game is highly relevant to sports.
It's just that the fact that 20+ thousand people decided to ignore the ominous weather forecasts and go to something as meaningless as a basketball game gives me hope for the human race (the OT part).
As much as I swear against the ridiculous behavior and messages of weather forecasters, and as pessimistic as I am about how tough people are nowadays, I was surprised to not see at least five thousand empty seats.
Evidently, people are tougher and more oblivious to weather nonsense than I believed.
Write it down, 'zipp' was wrong...
