They are kinda stuck. They like having access, they also don't want to see it all burn down. They would rather pretend it's a couple rogue programs. They don't wanna evaluate this full scale because then they gotta admit this is kinda like the WWE where it's rigged and they probably hate knowing their livelihood is aligned to something so fake. They wanna keep Coach K on the mountain when in reality the dude is just like Will Wade only better at the process.
Hanging Louisville for YEARS just looks silly now. No one cares about this stuff anymore, everyone just accepts it and the NIL just formally legalized it. Like I said before, retro-fit an NIL to the players who had pictures in Powell's book - BOOM, in compliance (insert eyeroll). Time has been served, Louisville has been punished, and it is time to move on (but we know they won't, too stubborn).

The stories or journalism should of been happening 10 years ago when one and done players were going to only UK and then Duke. We are putting coaches in the hall of fame that cheated the system.

If Davis’ family got money, then he was an ineligible player. UK’s banner in jeopardy in that case.
Sullivan would have broken the door off his crypt to get down to the UofL campus fast enough to put the administration to the “tough questions”.
Winning it all ain't easy - even if you've got the best players that money can buy.
So instead of looking for a Coach K or a Calimari (god forbid), who have already won a NC, lets find the next Scott Drew, Tony Bennett, Jay Wright BEFORE they won their championships.
