After losing by 13 to Dayton tonight, the Cards are 1-4. They haven't even played a ranked team yet. I know California is ranked now but they just lost and will probably fall out of the top 25.

This team just doesn't have a inside game at all. The two frontcourt freshmen have been big disappointments. How they were rated so high I don't know. Now it looks like the top rated recruit Asia Durr may redshirt due to her groin injury.

I guess it's time for a down season for Coach Walz. He's had so much success lately it's hard to keep that up with such a young team. The two frontcourt recruits for next year are also highly ranked so I hope they play up to that ranking. They are going to be needed. But until then, it's looking like a NCAA berth is going to be verry difficult for this group. Hope I'm wrong but this is the worse looking Lady Cards team I've seen for awhile.

I haven't seen them play yet, I was wondering if it was the inside game or if it was chemistry. We lost some team leaders that were instrumental to our past success. I guess it will take time I hope this isn't a wasted year.

Cal was ranked at the time, so the Cards have played a ranked team. Now that Cal
is no longer ranked , highlights the Cards problems.

The Women had lost by 4, 2, and 2 before last nites debacle. We could hope
for a turn around, and a sweet16 or elite8. Now the NCAAT, could be in
jeopardy.

Last nite they were up 24-13, fell asleep, and dayton took the lead to never
trail again. Porous interior defense, Erin Degrate woefully out of shape. No
passion or desire.

As of now, its going to be a long season.
