Spalding Is Gradually Becoming

the player we hoped he could be when he arrived.

I know some of the losses overshadowed things a bit, but Ray has become much more consistent this season and is turning into a presence inside.

Spalding ended up with 15 pts, 6 rebs, 2 blocks, 2 steals, and 1 assist.

I hope he's not playing hard trying to make this his final season. He has the ability to be a really great player I would love to have him 4 years.

Yep, he actually tried to dunk the ball instead of finesse finger rolls. He still needs to add strength as a couple of those dunks should have been “and 1’s”

Yeah it seems like Ray has finally realized how to unlock his motor every game. That and he has gotten stronger though he could still use a bit more strength. Love that he has a baby hook go to move now.

IMO Ray has improved immensely, but he has only scratched the surface. He can be twice the player he currently is with 15-25 more pounds of muscle, continued reps on his post moves, as well as further improving his perimeter shot. While he had a very nice game, those two missed dunks were huge. He finishes those two plays and he really looks good last night.
