Solak vs McKay

Kind of nerve racking to watch Solak face McKay on the
mound. Nick won the first battle drawing a walk and barely missing a HR. Brendan will only pitch 3 innings tonight. Rangers got 1 run off Brendan.

Listening to Texas broadcasters and they keep poking fun at how to pronounce “Louis-ville” or “Lou a vul” Nick gets best of Brendan in his 2nd at bat lacing a hard single to left field. Brendan struggling with his command.

McKay’s night over. Mixed results. 3.1 innings, 5 hits, 2 walks and a couple of K’s. He had runners on in every inning.

Solak homers against McKay’s replacement for his ML 4th HR. Brendan actually got the loss. His record is 2-4 and his ERA is a less than impressive 5.33.
