Feel like a proud papa. I was incredibly impressed with the toughness. My expectations for this year have been way exceeded!!
I was at work but I was yelling and screaming and clapping with every play. Man I love this team and the heart they show. Some people want to harp on the defense but I say those boys were asked to speed up because of what Wake does and they were tired. But they didn't quit, and Wake took home that L.
For me the most telling part of the night was when the camera panned over onto Cunningham standing on the sideline after he got hurt. The look on his face said put me back in the game, I want to compete. A complete turnaround from last year.
