I just don't understand why our offense is so predictable. The only creative play was the trick play and that's not going to cut it.

Many are fretting over the defense but it's not as terrible as perceived. I'm seeing see some adjustments geared at Schrader that I hope will be effective in the 2nd half.

Syracuse just has 17 points. We're down just 10. The Orange have been using the clock to keep the Cards offense on the side lines and that has to stop.

The problem is the offense and the lack of any real big plays by Malik. All he's done so far is manage the offense. I know we all hate Petrino but if he was calling the plays, Malik would be the focus, especially after getting down early.

Cards simply have to go for big plays in the 2nd half. Change the momentum. Make Syracuse worried they may not be as happy after the game as they thought.

This is when good coaching happens. Satterfield needs it.

Nothings going our way. Just more typical negative football. I'm so tired of it. For whatever reason it's happening.

3rd and 12, 3rd and 15, 3rd and 25 all ended up being 1st downs and you don’t think the defense is that bad?
It has had bad moments but there's still only 17 points. If the offense was just it's normal self those 17 wouldn't be enough. The offense has been the bigger disappointment.

Now that's pretty stupid. In this game Malik hasn't been used to be the dynamic threat he can be, instead we have tried to establish the run and then run play action off of it.

The problem is Syracuse knows this and they are not concerned about getting beat with the pass. That 2nd interception by Malik is due to that he hasn't had many throws down field and when he does, he's pressing himself.

Apparently, Satterfield can't or won't adjust to what is not working.

Oh yeah you’re right our defense isn’t that bad as the receiver is wide open for a TD. We didn’t even have a defender within 10 yards of him.

Nothing. Nothing is working. Malik is a bum QB and part of why we've been trash offensively against decent teams for years. Maybe we could run the ball if the other team had to worry about us throwing the ball

Cunningham is a very good option QB, who is a below average pocket QB. He doesn‘t see the field well and therefore can’t find and hit receivers when they do break open. And he or Satterfield has taken away his greatest strength, which is his threat to keep the ball on the option.

He's not a great option QB lol. He's not an elite athlete. That's fairly obvious.

Apparently you have reading comprehensive issues. I agree the defense is bad but the offense is worse. If we had 28 points on the board there's a good chance the defense plays better, but all they're seeing is the offense sputtering.

Tonight, no, he has not been a great anything. But his past history shows he IS a great option QB. He has put up great stats throughout his career.
