I believe with the running ability of Reggie and his toughness that he would be a pro slot receiver. What are the chances he makes the switch now as Quick seems done for the year?

I said in another thread that I'm not ready to go this route just yet. It seems we definitely need a mobile QB behind this O-line this year. If Jackson is our QB, and he runs as much as he did today, he is much more susceptible to an injury than a typical drop back passer. We need another mobile QB in the wings as back up.

Sounds good, I agree!

No one on our team comes close to the production of Lamar Jackson so having Bolin back him up is nice. Reggie is a solid threat as a slot and teams would have to worry about trick plays.
Reggie is not a D-1 QB. The faster we capatolize on his incredible hands and running ability the better.

Years ago, we had a quarterback named michale bush and along came a star quarterback named brohm. Michael was asked to move to running back and because of the move Brohm being qb and Bush being RB, Louisville enjoyed great success.

Fast forward to 2015 and the names have changed, but the situation is the same. Lamar Jackson is our best option at quarterback and Reggie Bonnafon is a great slot reciever. Reggie will be a pro receiver because of amazing hands and his ability to run after the catch. Reggie is a possession receiver.

Lets hope Bobby makes the move asap!!

Houston is no slouch and is capable of putting points on the board. We need to score....

Reggie is a much better athlete/receiver than he is a QB at the college level. People may not realize it, but he only started one season at varsity QB at Trinity and even then he struggled with accuracy and decision making. The other years he played in HS were as a wide receiver. Think about it--if he had difficulty running the Trinity offense, how capable should we expect him to be running a Bobby Petrino offense against major D1 opponents? I think he was a stopgap for us at QB last year because options were limited and our other quarterbacks weren't as mobile. He may still prove useful as a wideout who can throw the ball on trick plays.

Amazing athlete that with the ball in his hands makes people miss and has the speed to blow by people. Excellent hands and is not afraid of contact. He would be a professional slot receiver IMO...... Hopefully our coaching staff does whats best for Reggie and the team and move him immediately.
