The Skins released depth chart recently ....

They have Josh Harvey Clemons running at 3rd string MLB. I know that right after the draft, Jay Gruden's comments about JHC indicated finding a spot for him, since his size, and speed, made him a hybrid type player. I wonder how that is working out. Hopefully well for him.

James Quick is listed in the "other" line ... which isn't encouraging. There is at least one undrafted free agent WR ahead of him on the depth chart. Hopefully, he gets a chance to shine later, and makes the most of it. What looked like a wide open opportunity given the departure of DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon may not be nearly as wide open as previously thought. Incoming free agent Terrelle Pryor has really shown out, and last year's first round draft pick Josh Doctson has made some splashes so far this summer. Jamison Crowder's stats have only gotten better each year he's been in the league, and he is poised to break out this season.

I think at best, James is fighting for a practice squad spot. Hopefully he can get there. Because I think he has the talent to make it in the NFL. This is a critical time for him, for sure.
