We are stuck with this guy for another year there is no way he's fired and we pay $10 million dollars and there's no way he quits and not get that $10 million dollars only hope is some kind of agreement and a lowered by out amount

It’s a yes or no question (I should’ve specified that)

Hell Yes he should, but no he won't. The dude is oblivious as to how bad he is.! His press conferences make me want to vomit..

i would never resign if i were KP. he get a nice $3 million a year guaranteed for 6 years.
that is $100k a game for 30 games. only 40 minutes of game for college. you'll never find a job like that.

No.

He should be forced to live in the stink that he created this year. Perhaps there might even be some media that find their spine long enough to ask him tough questions and not settle for his lame, bullshit excuses.

Then he should resign in the post game presser of the last game.

Normally id agree with this. I didnt want petrino the thief fired those last two games.

These games under big blew payne arent even watchable.

Last years team would beat this years team by 23.

It would make the program even more ridiculous if a head coach quit his first year because he was losing games.

The only way I could see KP leaving before the season is over, is if there's some player revolt with multiple departures. If there's bleeding more than losing, the University may have no choice.

I think we all agree what the worse case scenario is in Jan/Feb. Cards don't win another game and several players enter the portal, while attendance at the Yum center is under 4,000.

No telling how bad it may be if that happens.

Id love to see him resign, but I don’t think he woul.
It’ll save UofL at least 2million if they decided to fire him after the season

There's really no gain to him resigning or being fired before the end of the season. This season is already shot... After we don't win another game the rest of the season and players start mailing it in (more than they are now) its going to get ugly and more and more of the "he needs more time" people start to see a decade wouldn't help him, Heird is going to be under fire to make a move. Hopefully he's already working back channels to get something in place..

Should have kept Pegues until the cloud was over.

Damn what Eaves, Beard, Bilas, Wade, Pervis, Vitale and others wanted.

This is not an on the job learning situation.

RESIGN PAYNE. NOW 😡
Should have kept Padgett until the cloud was over... Oops the cloud never materialized...

David was supposedly faced with the same issues as Mack but at least we might still have someone who appreciates U of L basketball unlike someone I know who appreciates kitties and NBA...

No, season is over, an interim won't make a bit of difference. Finish the season then decide.
Not sure how many fans listened to the CBS broadcast but i found it interesting that I think it was Jay Wright who made the comment about asking KP what offense does he run. Is it more Kentucky? KP replied it was mostly NBA with some Kentucky... That should tell us all we need to know. We never wanted the one and done and I don't necessarily want NBA players. I want great U of L players. Even with transfer portal it will take years to build a program the way KP wants.

If you fire KP and let Danny Manning take over as interim, at least you know we wont be running NBA/UK stuff and then we can decide whether to retain or find another coach...

I won't be at all surprised if Manning and Nolan get as far away from this shit show as they can after this season. Nolan's family are already battling people on Twitter on a regular basis.

I'm sure several players are outta here too. With so many jumping ship and a 2-30 record a move will surely have to be made..! As I said before hopefully Josh has something already in the works..
