Feels really good to be in March Madness once again. Been a very long 6 years.

What seed do you think the Cards end up with?

Lunardi updates UofL to a 6 seed in the Midwest Region facing either Vandy or San Diego St. Houston as our 1 seed.

In all seriousness, in today’s game I don’t think seeds/region make much difference. Too many good teams that can beat most anybody on a given night.

All it’s good for is planning travel.

I don’t think uk, Tenn, Mich St, etc are anymore anxious to play us than we are to play them.

Throw it up and play is all you can do.

Watching Florida I'm seeing what Louisville could be when Kelsey gets the big men he needs. The Gators look like the best team to me with a perfect balance of multiple guard and big man play. They are loaded. If the Cards had one of the Gators bigs we would be a title contender.

The officials are overwhelmed with the level of play in this Florida game and are calling way too many fouls. College hoops has changed with the dribble drive and the players are getting more physical. The refs are looking and anticipating fouls so they blow the whistle.

I Reviewed Marquette's body of work as they are a better seed. Doesn't make much sense. I guess the Big East is just that much better than the ACC.

So we finish 2nd in the ACC regular season and runner up in the conference tournament and we get an 8 seed. Then how on earth did Duke get a 1 seed it doesn’t add up.

I was going to say unbelievable, but it was actually predictable when you know ESPN/Lunardi discounted this UL team despite the success we witnessed.
After being #13 in the AP, beating a decent Stanford team, beating #10, and losing to #1. That doesn’t add up.
^^^^^ I think you captured the best argument, one that someone within that Committee must first answer and then explain it. I will only add one more point …… UL’s loss to #1 Duke in the ACC Tournament Championship apparently was totally discounted, particularly the way other conference tournament runner ups who lost to 1 seeds were treated.

I think Auburn should be behind Duke and possibly Florida. Two more losses than Duke in addition to losing head to head, and that’s not good enough for Duke to jump them? Is the SEC really that good? It seeks like some ridiculous SEC bias just like football.

The CBS Sports Network has a guy calling out the SEC getting 14 teams in right at the start of the show. Chris something who played at Villanova.

I'm not going to enter any bracket or support this tournament in any way. Once Louisville is eliminated, I'm not going to watch another game.

I think the University AD should publicly demand an explanation. There should be someone who can explain how Louisville received a 8 seed. Clemson who Louisville beat twice and has more quad 1 wins than the Tigers, received a 5 seed.

How can that be explained? The media isn't going to make much a fuss over it because they mostly hold the same disdain for Louisville basketball. But this has to be one of the worst seedings the NCAA tournament has ever committed.

This is what they do and it's blatantly in our face yet trying to get somebody other than us to explain it is impossible. They have different guidelines for different leagues or in our case, our team. It's a great point.

Louisville coach Pat Kelsey on ESPN radio with

on the Cardinals seeding:

"Man, so first of all I just want to say how fortunate we are and excited we are to be playing in the national tournament and representing our school and our city. I'll be completely honest with you when we were watching the selection show and that popped up, you know, it hurt a little bit. You felt slighted a little bit."
