SEC Mouth Piece, Paul Finebaum, slams Calipari

Paul only said it because he is hearing what a majority of BBN have been saying since the loss to St Peter. While Matt Jones remains the voice of BBN, Barnhart comments are the one to watch as this situation is boiling up.

This is typical Calipari he says things without thinking what he is saying and then he has to do damage control. When he was at Memphis 10 players on his team went down to Beale Street and got into a fight with 15 Memphis police officers. When the media asked him to comment on the matter he really put his foot in his mouth.

He said people just don’t understand these kids. They come from bad cities with troubled backgrounds and that is something they have to learn to overcome. The trouble was is that 8 of those players were from Memphis. The thing that scares me the most about this latest situation is that sUcK is finally figuring out that Calipari is not a good coach.
That means they might actually start thinking about getting a new coach who can actually win titles. I think if he doesn’t have a great year this season and in the tournament he could be in serious trouble.

Calipari will be 64 years old in February. unlikely to coach as long as Coach K. i think Jay Wright was smart to leave at age 60. the passion dies out at some point.

cal gets paid more than any other coach and basically has the best contract in college bball. he;s not going anywhere simply becasue he won;t make as much anywhere else. even the nba would be a downgrade most likely in pay

good point glassman. Cal signed a 6 year deal in 2019 for $86 million. 2025-2026 would likely be his last season. he would be 68 years old in feb of 2026.

I don't usually agree with Paul F on much of anything....but YEA! to this take.
