Fowler and Herbstreit seem almost giddy with Ole Miss' performance so far tonight. ESPN was in near panic mode over the weekend with their beloved SEC taking near misses and multiple losses. The clincher for me was the announcer at the UK-Southern Miss game that said Southern Miss could compete for the outside bid with Houston to get to the playoffs. The "3rd and Louisville" was hilarious but I bet the guy who said got docked some pay.

Am I alone on this or do you guys notice it as well??

ESPN talking heads are towing the company line. ESPN's parent company owns the SEC network. It's going to be hyped by the ESPN football experts. Marketing leads to higher ratings which leads to more revenue. I wouldn't take it personal. They're just good company YES men.

it is kinda funny to watch a couple B10 guys fall all over themselves for the SEC though...they must be vomiting in their mouth a little.

Almost like they haven't ever watched Florida State come back. They went so far as to say Jameis wasn't going to suit up. Oops.
