Because this is Scotty's dream job and he knows that if he has any success as a bridge coach, he will be forever remembered

I think it would be a good choice for an interim period but you have to wonder if timing is right. How old is Scotty? He served on Crums staff. He just signed an extension with Bellermine when he said it would take him to retirement. I'm pretty sure like you said if they understand it's his dream job to let him out but does he have enough energy and passion to lead us out of this mess?
