U of L said in a written statement that the Charles Koch Foundation is a "major supporter of higher education," providing money for programs at more than 250 U.S. colleges and universities, including past donations to U of L of about $84,000, according to Inman. Ramsey said that includes funding provided by the Koch Foundation to support economists on campus in the past.
Schnatter, through his foundation and through Papa John's International, has donated more than $26 million to the university, not including the gift to be formally announced tomorrow.
