The Pitino years have led me to expect an ass whooping next week. UK is HORRID at 3pt shooting, ranked in the 300s nationally. But you know those clowns will go for 11 of 14 or something crazy like that against us. A lot of their fans feel that beating us is more important than winning a NCAAT.

I don't read much into game by game transitive scores. Overall body of work at the end of the year will give more answers - but it really does look like it could be a total crapshoot every game in the post season. Filling out brackets never easy but this year I think I hand mine to the wife!

I hate the fact we don't have a warm up game around 2 or 3 days prior to the UofK game. My main fear is the Cards coming out rusty and overly excited and end up getting down by 20 points before half time then trying to fight back for the remainder of the game.

I honestly feel we have a very good team who is capable of going to Rupp and coming out with a win, but I am very concerned about the massive amount of time off from playing.

This will be one of their last chances to get a quality win for selection Sunday. They did best MS at the start but that was without one of their best players and MS has continued to drop. The SEC is a complete joke. Not many chances of a quality win during conference play.

I fully expect them to play as if their NCAA selection depends on it. In addition, coming off two straight losses, one of them inexcusable, I just can’t let myself get excited about the possibility of a win on their home court. A portion of their fan base is calling for John to ride off into the sunset. They realize that without another AD or two or three top five NBA picks in the starting five, that the Evansville and Utah losses will continue. But, as long as they win their super bowl game against Louisville, all will be forgiven.
