Alabama / Lsu scored 86 combined points . Espn says amazing game. SEC is king. This is what you get when 2 SEC bluebloods go to war.
Absolute. BULLSH#$`μ©.
WHEN 2 ACC teams score this many points they scream defensive incompetence. .Two Big 12 team, and the The Big12 doesn't play any defense. I was watching espn and they had 3 people talking about the game.. 1 host and 2 guests. 1 guest even mentioned the bias and they just ignored him. I swear if I was an ex NFL player and didn't need the money I would call them all out on live tv. I would hold nothing back.

You are more than correct.

Flashback to 2006;

#6 UofL beats # 3 WV 44-34.
All the pundits could say is, that the Big East doesnt play championship caliber defense.

Of course when #3 UofL lost to # 15 ranked Rutgers, they dropped 9 spots.

Theyre elitist who play favorites.

Besides, bama will get in the CFP through the backdoir.

Georgia lost to a bad South Carolina team that just lost to App st. And they had them like 6th I think. Joke. Man I love it because the committee messed up big time when they put Clemson 5th in the first playoff ranking. They poked a sleeping bear. I hope Clemson wipes their ass with everybody from here on out. I hope they beat the other three bithes in the playoffs worse than last year. That is all

I started a thread on this hypocrisy, and still remember UofL-WVU game that featured two top ten teams and a lower combined point total being ridiculed by ESPN for lack of defense. It’s sickening but we should all be used to it by now.

The o/u was 63 in the LSU-bama game last night, they crushed the over by 24 points. Talk about lack of defense. I bet the under... never foresaw the defensive play in that game being so atrocious.

I mean the SEC isn’t as great as they hype, but The SEC and Big 10 are head and shoulders better overall conferences. SEC is better for just pure talent and size. The Big 10 has better coaching.

I really don’t know what the ACC’s problem is at this moment in time. Florida State being awful doesn’t help as they are supposed to be the centerpiece program. Miami and Va Tech not being powerhouses just destroys everything. Boston College has a brief run of being decent. None of the North Carolina schools carry any weight. Syracuse struggles to maintain relevancy. Pitt should be good, but just too inconsistent.

I mean I guess it’s good for us as it gives us a pretty cake schedule every year, but it does stink that none of these programs can turn a corner.

I completely agree with all of this.

Let us see what 5-7 years of having the ACC Network does for this league. If no improvement after that....than, yes the ACC is some weak sauce league. Time will tell.

2006... #6 Louisville 44, #3 West Va 34.
“Well, the Big East just can’t play defense...gimmick offenses”

2006... #1 Ohio State 42, #2 Michigan 39
“It’s one for the ages!” “Game of the century!” “Only in the Big 10(+4)!”

Please..

The ACC needs up to three TV channels, not an additional online channel.

The Pac12 network has 3-5 chanels.
The Sec has 3 channels.

I know the Big10 has 1 channel, but theyre football first.

The ACC network appears to be all encompassing.

Money can help, but the big dogs have to be the big dogs.

FSU needs to be a playoff contender every year. No excuses. They need to go get a big name coach right now.

Miami needs to be top 25 every year. When they’re good, they draw eyeballs to the conference. Va. Tech needs to be top 25 every year. Maybe not elite, but good enough to provide to must-see matchups.

UNC I think is the one school that needs to step up. They have a lot of money and are in a good area for recruiting. They have a good brand.

Pitt is in a great recruiting area and fans care when they’re good, no reason for them to not be decent every year.

And of course, we need to hold our place as 8-9 win average with the occasional 10 win year as a top 10 team. As long as we continue to make good coaching hires, the structure will remain in place for us to contend as that team behind FSU and Clemson.
