Glad to have him back. Gutsy plays and huge steal at the end.
Agree. Guy just makes smart plays. He's more than just a shooter.Glad to have him back. Gutsy plays and huge steal at the end.
He was hurt and had a setback in his recovery. I never heard a credible source that said he was contemplating a transfer.Glad to put the transfer possibility to rest. I really thought he was going to go - after his connection to pitino and with Perry getting more and more minutes.
I wasn't saying that him transferring was anything I heard - i just found it to be plausible on my own, particularly when he warmed up against sienna and then Padgett played the two walk ons and not RM. Would you have been shocked if he had transferred? He was hurt and had a setback in his recovery. I never heard a credible source that said he was contemplating a transfer.
I had heard all along that he was hurt and suffered a setback in his recovery. I just didn’t know to expect that he would make such an impact in his first game back.I wasn't saying that him transferring was anything I heard - i just found it to be plausible on my own, particularly when he warmed up against sienna and then Padgett played the two walk ons and not RM. You didn’t answer my question.I had heard all along that he was hurt and suffered a setback in his recovery. I just didn’t know to expect that he would make such an impact in his first game back.
The answer is yes, I would have been shocked because he has already sat out one year as a redshirt. Dick Vitale saw this kid in an AAU game and recommended him to CRP. As far as I know, he wasn’t on anybody else’s radar. Not like CRP went to another school to coach. Ryan and all these kids on this team, well except the seniors, need to see what plays out in terms of any future sanctions. You didn’t answer my question.
He is a big shot taker. Without him, the Cards lose, and maybe lose to IU also.
Not to nitpick, but he's a slight liability on defense. Albany seemed to figure that out. We got to figure out ways to hide him.
Which is really hard to do if you have him and Quinn on the floor at the same time.
I really liked Rays 'refuse to lose' attitude in the last 2 minutes of the game. He stepped up on both ends of the court and his efforts led the Cards to victory IMO. Congrats Ray!!!!
The way to hide him is the Syracuse zone not the matchup zone we played last night. I think to CDP’s credit, he’s still experimenting with what works best.He is a big shot taker. Without him, the Cards lose, and maybe lose to IU also.

Somebody else also pointed out having Snider on the floor at the same time with him hurt the team defensively as well. I agree Padgett is mixing lineups trying to find things he likes.
