Being confirmed my multiple people all over social media, with a quote from Gill himself. Seems like a done deal. Must have been in the works for awhile.

Plenty of playing time available next season, and the guy takes off now? Seems very odd to me.

I think it's an instance of just not fitting the system.

Apparently at today's press conference, Pitino said or suggested that Gill, Onuaku, and Aaron all three may transfer. Next year's team could look VERY different, even more so than we already knew.

While it's too bad some players leave but it might be best for the team.

I wonder if he's already has players lined up to take the place of those guys. People are too quick to bash Crean for doing the same but Pitino has shown he knows what he's doing.

And haters don't give me the L1C4. He's shown he takes care of some past players by hooking them up with assistant coaching jobs.

You could see this one coming he just wasn't a good fit. He is more of a scorer than a shooter. He is a guy that needs to get up a bunch of shots. On the defensive end he struggles.

I do think it is interesting that they are making these announcements quickly. It sends a clear message to the potential JUCO's and transfers that there is room. I think we will know real soon on the other two players that are being discussed. At this point they are either in or out. Can't have kids that won't buy in. Aaron needs to buy in if not he needs to go because he seems miserable.

I received an alert from ESPN stating that Gill's dad said....its time try something new.

I thought at the press conference CRP stated 1 to 3 players may be transferring, and later in the day confirmed Gill was going. The other two names appeared to be speculation on sports talk shows after the presser.
