Looking around on the web, we went to Marriot/Fairfield site and the room rates had been cut in half from what we booked on Saturday before bowl announcement. So one phone call and we got the cheaper rate. I've got to wonder if lots and lots of Aggie fans backed out of spending money in Nashville. Check out your reservations. I hope this saves you big bucks too.

One reason why i didnt' jump the gun when this bowl game was annouced on tickets also. Starting to see alot of ticket price ,movement lower prices in the lower sections. Gurantee game day will be able to get a lower excellent seat for a fraction of initial cost. A/M has too many issues to make this game what it could've been,

I haven't found any decrease in mine at Marriott.com. as yet.

When I first went on, my hotel in the list showed about 1/2 price...but when I clicked on the hotel, it popped back up at full price.

I'm checking it often now. I'm on points, but still would take a break if offered.

Good catch on your part.

Rollem, call the front desk at your Marriott. Tell them you've seen the reduced price on line and your want that price. That's how we got ours reduced to half the original booking price. We too are members but not the "credit card" carrying members.
