Never like to get too far ahead, but NC St and Syracuse have some serious problems. Miami and UK are going to be tough games, toss-ups is how I think they are viewed. Cards figure to be slight underdogs in both.

Beat Miami this Saturday and the Orange Bowl starts coming into focus.

Lots to do to get there but you would have had someone committed if they mentioned Orange Bowl before the season.

Strange but I feel better about the football game than the basketball game. I acknowledge the hype, great recruiting class, return of Nwora, year 2, all of that, but until I see something I'm still feeling the downward trend we saw at the end of the season while the football Cards feel on an upward swing.
