Radio callers are ready for a new Coach.

They are all stupid and an embarrassment. Two idiots call a radio show and everyone thinks the fanbase wants to FARRRR that sonofabeyitch.

I know but the "fire Coach Mack brigade" started with the loss to Minnesota in the NCAAT and reawakened during the 10 game win streak.
No foolin !

So going to a 3 Guard line-up wasn't making an adjustment?
He also went to a small lineup and it seemed to pay off for a bit. Until Bennett made his adjustment. I think we should have kept Sutton on Diakite instead of Nwora. Why did we stop going inside to Enoch?

Enoch is the one who went to the bench with the small line-up.

Rather have coach Mack than anyone else currently coaching in college. I'll just ignore the noise. It's nothing but static.

I don’t know it’s a Mack thing. It’s more of a player thing. It’s not a talent thing, though. It’s an emotional/leader thing. There isn’t a guy on the floor who leads. They aren’t a team of passion. Individually, perhaps. As a team, they are lacking. Something is just missing.

Without Williams, and let's be honest he was not ready to go today, beating UVA at their home on senior night was a very tough order.

Yes, the loss was frustrating, but I never thought the Cards would've cut that lead and had a chance to win the game today. Yet they did. I like that the team fought back and that it didn't turn into a typical UVA blowout of years past.

They're missing the Alpha male. Eventually DJ will be that guy, but right now he's not grabbing that role. Nwora tried to be, but it's not his demeanor. Everyone else is looking for someone to follow.

Kimble and Johnson combined to go 2 for 10. Perry and McMahon went 3 for 7. Virginia outscored Louisville 16-5 off turnovers.

Tourney games are about the guards this ain't going to cut it . This is ALL about the players not getting it done.

For some reason both Perry (who did play a great defensive game) and Kimble think they are worthy of taking all the important shots with the game on the line. Frustrating.

yeah, I mean why expect to ever beat Virginia? Are you freaking kidding me?

Totally agree. And the poster that indicted that playing a pack line defense for 40 minutes and only committing 7 fouls is BS was spot on. The difference in this game was FTs attempted and made. Pretty simple. I don’t think UVA will have that advantage in the ACC tourney. Basically referees are chicken chit on home floors.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

I didn’t say ever, but on their floor, on their Senior day, while they are on a 7 game win streak, and we have beaten them only twice since being in the ACC, yes, expectations should have been tempered.

This team is pretty much last years team except you replaced CC with Fresh. Our heralded freshmen class was no where near what we were expecting. After next year, when it’s all Mack’s players then we will know where we’re at.

And Vegas had Va as a 2 point favorite.. By the odds it would've been an upset had we won..

I'm glad i pay attention to recruiting year round. And listen to what is being said about incoming players. Fans named this class the super 6 or whateva moniker. If fans had listened to CCM and some other in the know people. Their expectations with the incoming freshman would have been tempered. DJ pretty much played much better than expected however the knock on him was shooting and Ft's needs work and conditioning and weight loss all correct. His conditioning has been brought up all year by Mack . On DJ you can see the baby fat some guys just take awhile to rid that. Sam was a late developer his senior year when he blowed up. His issue really was playing behind Nwora at the 3 not getting to develop fully. Irish Hulk (geez) fans CCM and others said he was very BB raw plain and simple. Nickleberry was hyped because he was the first recruit word is he along with Withers are very athletic kids that will contribute next year. , Quinn didn't really hear too much other than a project more so type player .

I’ll disagree here with most posters. This is not the Virginia team of last year. Hell they lost what 90% of the offense? Yes, they were on a win streak but I expected the Cards to win. Why? We had the conference title co-championship at stake. We had a possible 2 seed in the NCAAT out there. When a team like UK can go to a hostile Gainesville without their star guard, come back from 10 down to win, it’s tough to feel that this team will somehow find a way to close out games. Frustrating.

I look at it this way the season is not over . They have two more opportunity's to salvage this fiasco .

1. Dig in and win the ACC tourney
2. Make a serious Ncaa tourney run.

However the results so far this year say neither will happen.

What UK does is irrelevant to what UofL does. You’d be wise to cease comparisons. It was the last regular season game of 2020. UVA has had plenty of time to figure out how to score without those players who moved on.
