Got an update on Jermaine Johnson, the Georgia linebacker, that I wanted to drop on the board. As a side note, I apologize for not putting his name in the title but anyone without a subscription can read the title and I wanted to keep his name behind the paywall to coincide with Dave's discussion on the board the other day.
Anyway, you all know I much prefer to report good news and while I was told from the Louisville side of things the other day that they feel they have a good chance of landing him, I spoke with someone not on the Louisville side of things that painted a different picture. From what I gather Johnson has multiple options on the table and none of those really centered around Louisville. In other words, what I heard did not sound like a recipe for Jermaine Johnson ending up at Louisville. I have reached out to see if anyone on the Louisville side has any updated information because maybe Johnson is purposefully not leading on to the Cardinals being a legitimate possibility, but until then I would keep your expectations of landing him very very low.
