Sources: Appalachian State is hiring Louisville QB coach Frank Ponce as the school's new OC. He spent six years at App State prior to going to Louisville with Scott Satterfield. He helped coach both Taylor Lamb and Zac Thomas at App State and won four-straight Sun Belts.
