Prediction . . .

Well I've listened to all of the talking heads and that includes all of the local guys also. And now that I've done that I have a prediction. First, we have to win out as we all already knew. Second, there are three more Tuesday nights for us to "go thru" before the final bell is rung on the four playoff teams. I believe that all things being equal (and they are regardless of the talking heads) we will end up IN. There will be TWO ACC teams, Alabama, Clemson, Louisville and either tOSU or Michigan. Again, we DO have to win out and probably fairly convincingly. All the rest is pure BS and yada, yada, yada. And resumes be damned. Now what that will create is the $ec (send 'me cash) and the BIG (hot air blowing BSer's) will be so pissed off that they will immediately start conversations to have the playoffs go to EIGHT and, at the end of the day, isn't that what we all (mostly) want. So there you go the college football sage has spoken.

As you like to say, I'll bet a dollar to a green @$$ed fly, a 2 loss team gets in. Which would leave us out. Probably from the B1G, but they were already blowing smoke at Oklahoma last week.

And if Tenn can move from unranked to 19th by beating uk at home, it wouldn't surprise me to see another $EC team become "deserving" in the last couple weeks.

I just want to kick Houstons ass (that might hurt OK) and the kitties (might take the shine off Tenn).

Their spin machine has me dizzy.

Agree with GOCDS .........when the Committee meets for their final deliberation, they are going to find it very difficult to avoid including UL in the 4 playoff. The AP and the Coaches Poll will likely identify the Cards as either the #2 or #3 spot (depends on OSU beating Michigan out of #2) and dropping the most exciting offense out of the playoff is too much of an attraction for TV to pass up.

Committee experienced humiliation over A&M, and followed up with investing in a fraudulent Michigan. Many more misses like this will only further erode the process credibility.
