I’m guessing UofL is favored by 3.5 against BC. Basically a toss up but we have home-field advantage.

If BC takes care of Wake Forest this weekend, I can easily see them being a small favorite, like -2.5. Louisville is still a question mark kind of team to a lot of people.

I'm not a gambler. But if I was and U of L gave up anything approaching a TD in the betting line, I'd be crazy not to hedge my interest in this game by betting on BC.

This is a big game. If we lose this one, it's easy to envision a long losing streak like last season. Satterfield needs to pull out all stops...

Not a sports gambler but I cannot envision how any +/- betting margin can be “assumed” while a team still has a game to play before they play THE UofL. Oh yeah, I get it, this is all about guessing. And to zipp, I would never bet on one of our opponents. That just might put me in the very awkward position of actually cheering for them against MY Cardinals to cover a point spread. Ain’t gonna happen, ever.

Yeah, I get it. :p I’m not sure that I’ve ever been so happy to have a bye week, ever. Has to be because CSS and this particular team really needs it. Our QB situation, both injured and rookie, all will benefit tremendously from the weekend off. I’ve come to believe that this staff, if given time, can coach “past and through” inherent weaknesses (depth and mental errors) as well as any coaching staffs we’ve ever had.

OR....our Cards are the dog and the opponent you bet on doesn’t cover. ;)

Then you “win” twice! :D

Like the ND game :) That silly 1/2 pt broke some ND hearts.

But, like you, I don’t bet Cards games. Too many ways to lose at least “once”

This thing is shaping up for golden opportunity for the Cards. Coming off the bye, and BC comes into town off a real tough 3 pt loss. I'm thinking BC is going to still be a very short favorite here, under 3 points.

As a bettor these are games I always avoid, anything with a spread under 7 no thanks!

I agree. They outplayed undefeated Wake yesterday.

I’ll say BC starts out as a 1 1/2 point favorite.

I’ll just wait until tomorrow and see what the so called experts make it.

And since I’m not going to place a bet I’m just interested in what other people think our chances are. But I still won’t bet the game. I think we are going to win this game because I believe we’ll be very well prepared. As for the score I still don’t make those type predictions.
