It just a matter of time before you only have 10 schools dominate college basketball in both men and women’.
The talent pool in men’s basketball is much deeper than the women’s game. Look at what has started happening in College basketball. The women’s game has better teams overall but they continue to have 1-2 teams dominate teams. Men’s game the talent is spreading out. Bottom line there are only 5-8 spots that legit play.
My guess is full rosters will slowly erode. Even if you have a full roster 50-60% of the roster will turnover. No way to predict when key players from the traditional powers will leave.
The challenge of rebuilding a roster every year with guys that fit the system and mesh with all the players is incredibly difficult.
It also depends what you mean by dominant, regular season or tournament? The NCAA tournament is the ultimate equalizer.
