POLL: Will Terry Rozier Come Back For Junior Season?

I voted no. I'd like for him to come back but based on CRP's statements, Terry's play the other night and what he does this week, I think he's gone. Better try and enjoy him and Trezl while we can.

Go Cards!

I read the question wrong the first time.
I meant to vote Yes. I know some insiders say he is absolutely gone, but it's my understanding that if he wasn't a first round pick, he might stay. I believe most mock drafts have him as a second rounder now. Unless he really elevates himself in however many games we have left, I do believe he reconsiders and stays. No insider info whatsoever, just my opinion.

Well, if he indeed does make himself available for the draft, it will be one of the worse decisions on par with past Cardinal players Samardo Samuels and Terrence Jennings. Again, I'm not privy to his family situation and maybe making money over seas would be his plan B. I know he thinks he can make a NBA roster and all that but if Pitino is honest with him, he will tell him he's taking a big risk.

Russ Smith couldn't even get court time as a rookie and he played four seasons of college. I know many think Terry is better than Russ but he's not that much better. They're both short shooting guards. I think Terry had such a great game the other night because he was back at shooting guard. Snider's emergence lets Terry do what he's more comfortable doing.

I voted yes because that's what he should do, but you guys may be right and he goes. It won't be the first or the last time a Cardinal player makes a bad decision.

I voted yes. I think he needs 1 more year in college and somehow someone will talk him into it.

Last year I would have voted Montrezl to be gone and he came back. This year I would and did vote that terry will stay one more year.

I just hope he ends up getting a guaranteed contract. After reading that story, I think in Sports Illustrated, about him, he really needs the money. And he's such a great kid who has overcome so much adversity just to get here, he deserves it.

I believe Terry will eventually be just fine playing the point in the NBA. He's shown he can be an excellent passer, strong ballhandler and his quickness is unquestionable. With all the other things he does well such as getting to the rim, his ability to knock down mid-range jumpers in traffic, his rebounding and his relentless motor make him one of the most versatile players in the country.
NBA people love versatility.

I don't think he is definitely gone. Like others have said, it's all about where he will be projected to go in the draft.

First time on board. Big Card fan from West KY. Seen many through the years that tried pro ball on for size - some, way
too early. Terry is a really good college player. His best traits; passing, his vision, knowledge on both of ends of the
court, effective but sometimes streaky shooter, very good range, has quickness and doesn't foul lot often. Most of all, a team player. The minuses going forward, match up problems, not a great dribbler, certainly not a true point guard. He will want to be
a 2 guard in the pros. That said, I really like his play, attitude and game. But, he needs another year in my opinion. GO
CARDS!

False, you clearly know nothing of his draft stock by making this ridiculous statement.

I would love to have Rozier back next season but I think he is gone. We would have one killer back court if he returned though.

Can't really see too much improvement coming back from a skill set aspect. Yes decesion making could be better but Q will be the main ball handler next season running the floor so Terry will be nothing more than a 2. So he needs to go while the iron is hot for him.
