Plummer to UL

BVM Sports reported that 247Sports broke the story and Joshua Tipton who covers UL for fansided.com confirmed. It appears that CalNation is where the information originated, as it included several other kids leaving their program.

I should add Steelers2012 ……. I do not subscribe to Twitter or Facebook, and most of my information originates from folks at UL. In this case, my friend is at UL and he sent me the link that contained the sources that I shared a few moments ago. It arrived on my cell phone and if you send me your email address, I will forward the link. Sorry, I do not know any other way to share.

if you have a link you press and hold your finger over the link and the paste, copy, cut share options should pop up. hit copy obviously. if it's a webpage go to the top where the url is and press and hold and it should highlight the url and give you the same copy, cut, paste option so copy then paste here.

Sports Illustrated wasn’t definitive. They referred to reports from 247sports and fansided.com’s Joshua Tipton.

Cardinauthority (247’s Louisville site) briefly put up a story about the commitment, but pulled it down within an hour. Tipton’s story says Louisville is a likely destination for Plummer.

Likely to happen, yes. Not done at this time.

The day of NSD, there were a few locals who never mentioned the event …. I could not believe they were talking basketball.

It is a good move for both. The key is the Oline giving him time or good pockets. He is not mobile. The line will have some new pieces. Really need Hudson to stay.

I feel really good now. Like I said in another post we still have Brock. I know a lot of people don’t like him but they guy is a gamer. Plummer has had some injury issues maybe because of a weak O-line maybe not.At least now we have two options versus throwing Clarkson to the wolves right away.

I disagree about Plummer not being mobile. Obviously he’s not Lamar or Malik but he is very mobile while avoiding the rush and he can also throw on the run and get yards with his legs when the pocket breaks down. His 6’5 frame is deceptive.

Watch him in JB’s system against a pretty good Minnesota team

We're slinging it around next season 😀
Look for everybody to be in on the receiving action...everybody.

He reminds me of Hunter Cantwell although I think Plummer has a quicker release and is more light on his feet than Cantwell.

It just wasn’t a sharp performance. The int., and the fact that Moore made him look better that he was. Don’t get me wrong, that was two years ago and I think he will be good for our program.

Ideally, Plummer is here to just give us transition time for Pierce. But if Pierce is ready to go then he’s our guy. I don’t care how early. He’s responsible for this class and cannot afford to have him leave

No, thats not the only reason. Pierce's dad likes the ideal of a more experience QB to mentor Pierce during his first year. Jeff would know better than to go get a guy who's not willing to do that and just wants the starting job for 1 year.
