McMahon 31%, Snider in the high 20s%, and Hicks @ 15%.

To put this in perspective, Siva never shot under 40% and he was labeled a guy that can't shoot.

I think the main thing to take into consideration though with the % are the denominators. The only one of the 3 you mentioned with enough FG attempts to value the % is Snider.

Snider 95 fga - 27 fgm
Hicks 20 fga - 3 fgm
McMahon 13 fga - 4 fgm

Snider of course is struggling this season, also seems to me he is forcing a lot more offensively this year than last.

Until McMahon and Hicks put up more shots their % really doesn't mean much at all. McMahon we all know can shoot better than any player on our roster, arguably the best shooter we have had in Ricks time here at UofL.

Spot on about Snider forcing things this season. I'd like to know the reason why he has completely changed his game and gone away from his strengths of the past two seasons. It seems like quite a few guys, especially if we get a sizeable lead, think to "get theirs" first at the expense of the team offense and that almost always leads to the team losing those leads.

It's something that definitely needs to be worked on heading into these tough games coming up, and of course ACC Conference play. If not then we'll be in for a long winter ride.

You hit the nail on the head shadow.I'm watching how many bad shots lead to baskets at the other end and it's uncanny.I won't pick on anybody because it's prevalent throughout the team.
If guys will take what's given,pass for the better shot,they'll be on the receiving end.Of course,that's if everybody buys in.
If guys continue to seek "getting theirs" ,this team will be so so.Shot selection from passing the ball to one another.I know I'm on a crusade,but the coach sees it too.

Snider's shooting percentage is reason he should not play more than 25-30 minutes a game. Dead legs on an already not so great shooter. We need a guard to step up and distrubute the ball like Levitch did so well for us against GCU. Snider needs rest so he can have legs at the end of the season. I hope we find another guard asap. Dejuan Wheats senior year is a bad memory.

good post snider needs to play less and pass more and he cant finish at the rim
