The new deal is a 7-year extension worth $30.625 million and at $4.35 million per season, which runs through 2023, will make Petrino the third highest paid coach in the ACC behind FSU's Jimbo Fisher and Clemson's Dabo Swinney.

In the same press conference:

Tom Jurich said fundraising has reached the $20 million mark for Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium expansion.

Jurich on stadium expansion: “One big mistake I made is we didn’t do enough field-level suites because they went like that.."

Good for Bobby and his family and good for the program. Guys with his coaching acumen don't grow on trees.

The football program is on a big uptick right now with a chance to make the big leap soon. Keep it rolling.

I ventured over to the kitty board, they can't believe we would pay a coach more than we need to, yet they can't afford to fire their own coach. Good lawd they are a special special group of people.

Ha read it too. What a bunch of rubes! Oh and the mods should ban catfagfolife87 once he ventures back over here. Btw, they pay a king's ransom to Porky whose biggest win to date is over 7-6 South Carolina (it was huge....there's a tshirt). And they are questioning us paying a guy who really does win
