Im not angry that he's getting 14, or 7 or 3.5 after taxes, its that he didn't earn it.

Its obvious he wanted to retire or get away from coaching. Instead of stepping down, he had to get fired to ensure the money.

I'll give him credence on a failed marriage coupled with losing his Father. Very rough times

I wont ever feel sorry for any coach who is fired they have 7 million dollar buyouts.

You touched on something that I had suspected for sometime but never could quite put a finger on. Something was missing from 2.0 that was strikingly different from old 41 and 9. I think most of us all agree on that point. Could it be that he was tired of coaching? It appeared to me over the past couple of years that he no longer had the fire and was just cashing a check. Yes.

Especially the playcalling.
An experienced HC knows better.
Plus he undercut position coaches, thus team dissension the last 5 years.


Also there were some on the Academic side who were bound to have him removed.
