People need not freak out

But.... it's not helping our recruiting efforts. We just don't look attractive to future 3,4,or dare
I say 5 star recruits.

Don't agree. We look a lot better in this game than we did in the Belk Bowl. If prospective recruits watch the game (rather than just looking at the score), they'll see that we are competitive.

This is a #6 vs unranked matchup, don't forget.

We do but proud of hanging in

The team hung in there, the fans hung in there...but you bailed on the team after the very first play from scrimmage. You went negative from the beginning. C'mon man, keep a little faith and a little hope this season. Or at least wait until the game is decided before calling it. Be a better fan. ;)

No I was calling it like it was at the time. Plus we lost and I'm not really into moral victories.

I haven't forgotten, I just hope the recruits do. Playing an upper teir $EC team regardless carries weight.

I too hate when you lose to a team like Auburn when we should had beaten them.
As I said
I live in Alabama and the Auburn's fans are wondering
if they played us next week
Would they lose?

They are now questioning how good they are.

All a recruit has to do is look at our participation chart for true freshmen against Auburn. Then, visit and commit...

I don't think this game hurt recruiting at all. If anything, the opposite is true. National stage, great rally. There is still a lot of excitement around this program. We're not going to win every game but we are competitive and will win our share.

If the recruit is an O-Lineman, he can come and play right away. Great incentive for all high-school O-Linemen.

That's what I was thinking. Here is a team that took the #6 ranked team down to the wire (outplaying them in the final quarter), and that was without being able to run the ball between the tackles! Five star OL's (and placekickers, for that matter) would get an immediate chance to prove themselves on a team with a lot of the other pieces already in place.

Win the next 2 and everyone will be giddy. Not an easy task but I like our chances. Lots of young guys on this team that are going to get better each week.

My biggest concern is how we got pushed around right up the gut on defense. Auburn's O-Line was big and athletic but we also benefited from refs who weren't afraid to call 5 holding penalties on them. I'm sure that there were plenty more they missed but we need the linebackers to fill the gaps better and shed blocks IMO. It didn't help that we kept both safeties back in coverage most of the time but Bobby said they wanted to try to stop the deep ball and they did for the most part.

Maybe we will see that Auburn's O-line is as good as anyone in the country. Who knows?

Much like Georgia and Alabama,it is the strength of their offense.Line up and run behind the center.I think the defense was worrying too much about Young's legs, but like the announcer's said, all the deception with the motion is just that...deception.That qb really doesn't want to run it,but you have to account for him.

Nobody is ready to bail. Some fans don't believe in moral victories however. Real fans discuss games: the good the bad and the ugly. And for a large portion we were ugly. And we lost.

Some people tend to over react and say or post things that normally would go unsaid when they have $$ on the outcome and the results are not looking favorable. JMO

Nobody expected us to win and now some of you are ready to bail. This team grew up in the second half and the season is bright!
Grew up big time. 9 true freshmen starting and we will be a much better team because of it. Imagine what its going to be in a year!
We are not far away now.....
