Football season can never come soon enough, and when a team is eliminated from New Year’s 6 contention, next football season can not come soon enough. Basketball was just a good way to pass the time. Now it will be a longer wait because it will be a chore to watch our basketball team within 2 years. The 2018-19 athletic season will be the opposite of the year of the cardinal with a rebuild year in football and 0 recruits in basketball to fill the gaps in the roster. However 2019-2020 could be the year if we find out the sanctions for FBI and decide on a coach.
