Michael Bush is not walking through that door... Unfortunately, neither is Randall Cobb. Should be a pretty dreadful display I would think. Let's see which offensive line sucks less...

Meh. We've played better teams. Not saying we are going to win but UofL isn't exactly world beaters.
If you are trying to tell us you don't care, you are lying. The fact that you are here is enough evidence.

if you win, you get in state bragging rights and you will be bowl eligible. Don't tell me that it deserves a response of "meh"

Of course it would be a huge victory but the original post implies UK fans are scared that big bad Louisville is coming to Lexington. Won't be the blowout some of you guys think it will be. Like I said I'm not sure UK will win, but I sure as hell am not scared of playing Louisville.

I think the original post was stating that UK turned out to not be as good as their fans thought, and making a bowl game again comes down to winning a rivalry game where they are not favored. Another losing season has become a real possibility.

Why would YOU be "scared"?

The OP asks if "Big Blow Nation" (cute btw) is ready for another "beatdown", I suppose like the four point beatdown last year. Nonetheless, I can't disagree with anything you posted. It has been very disappointing for the Cats this season and now the only way to salvage it is by winning a tough rivalry game.

For once you have something to play for last game of the season. CWS might even be full.

Maybe.

Going to be nice lol

These are the same old pacified (think of a word that sounds very like pacified) cop outs we hear from the kitties every year after they've shot their mouths off FOR MONTHS about the big breakthrough that was coming for them but NEVER DID NEVER DOES AND NEVER WILL.

* Neither one is very good y'all
*We've played better

Just take yer beating and STFU, pacifies ...lol

Happy Thanksgiving you candy asses in blue, am sure you're already 50 lbs obese so do watch what you eat.

This should be a big win for the CARDS! Cards fans should show up and cheer our team on! The seats are dirt cheap on several sites and it's a short drive. GO CARDS! BEAT UK!

While we've been a little up and down, we have shown flashes of being a pretty good team. UK fans don't realize we we only lost by 3 pts to the #1 team in the country. We should've won a couple of those close games against some good teams.

I'm with you. I hate when we play them in anything. Somehow beating them is never that fulfilling but, when we lose we never hear the end of it.

If we didn't have blue visitors all summer over building up the UK team, threads like this wouldn't be. I still find it hard to believe that you guys have done so poorly with your creamy schedule this year.

Your SOS is #60. That's not too many better teams.

LPT Football: Just the way we want it...

The "we have played better teams" is definitely a load of crap. Clemson is better than anybody they've played, and FSU may be as well. We played Auburn and Houston in the non-conference while they played ULL and ... Charlotte!

If we weren't so inconsistent on both sides of the football, I would be a lot more confident tomorrow. The offensive problems are understandable, considering the QB and OL problems. It's the defense that has me worried. Why are we so inconsistent? At times, our DL is dominant, and at others it's as if they aren't even in the game. Do we have players who are playing at less than 100% in the DL that no one outside of the program knows about?

...We need to cancel playing them in any sport. We have nothing to gain from playing them. If we lose its an upset, when we win we are expected to. CJ
I am starting to come around to this way of thinking. In every sport but basketball, losing to LPT is now perceived as an upset because our programs have largely surpassed theirs.

In another ten years, the differences will be apparent. And Pitino Lite will be long gone by that time meaning their basketball program will be falling back in line. (Even Maddie Jones understands that latter point.)

I appreciate LPT playing us when the roles were reversed. Now that they're in our rear view mirror, I'm ready to part company again.

LPT Football: We're sure as hell good with that...

YOuve LOST to better teams....so what

The "so what" is that this year, UK has not played a tougher schedule than UofL has. The good news for UK is that if the first 21 games of the Governor's Cup rivalry has proven anything, the "we play a tougher schedule" hasn't meant very much. As is always the case, neither team gets to take their awesome opponents onto the field to play the game for them.
