Owls vs Domers....anybody else watching?

Into the 4th Qtr and Temple threatening to score......Tie it up or cut it to 4? What you think? Who ya got? Owls are hanging tough.

Would be a great win for the AAC tonight if they pull it off......and the way Houston romped Vandy and Memphis pulling away from Tulane......would be an awesome statement for a much maligned conference.

I know.....who cares right? Besides Aresco.?

Somehow, I do too....since I like the under dogs in FB and find myself rooting for them to win. That is one reason I have put my stock in the Cardinals all these years and their Quest for respectability. Come on Owls....punch it in!

Watching now. Should be a great finish. Just curious...why are so many rooting for Temple vs Notre Dame? Without a dog in the fight, I tend to root for the underdog myself.

I haven't forgotten where we came from is one reason, I can't stand ND is the other.

Under most circumstances I root against Notre Dame, however I'm rooting big time for Clemson to make the playoff. Since they beat ND, I think it's important for Clemson that ND stays pretty high up in the polls. Plus the folks at ND were super nice last year.

But Temple certainly proved they are for real tonight. Great crowd and atmosphere in Philly tonight.
Just goes to show.....fans love a winner and will come our to see a game vs a big name opponent.

Somewhere, Aresco has to be smiling tonight. And he ought too. Kudos to him and the AAC. Great entertainment tonight. Temple is good this year.

The season is not over but with Temple & Houston for Real, and maybe Memphis too(gotta love that 6'7" QB), this looks like the old Big East, Cards, Rutgers and WVU!

Why doesn't the ACC embrace ND's 5/8 membership in football and use it to the conference's advantage? ND is playing 6 ACC teams this year because ASU wouldn't release them last year. I would include them in the conference standings with a * denoting that they're not eligible for the conference championship. A healthy ND football program could be a healthy addition if the conference decided to include them rather than ignore them. I find it very easy to pull for all the teams in the ACC because it's my conference now. JMHO. I can't see the Cards losing to UK. They're just not that good.

Really? Perception is a tricky thing. You have a take that belies Domer partisan bias......The hype for the NC/Clemson game was awesome.....every game I've watched of ND's vs an ACC team closely resembles that too, IMO.

If you expect total inclusiveness.....than be all in on FB.....it is as simple as that.......that is ............... if you really want to have your cake and eat it to. If you do, start a movement to lobby the ND AD to go all in for FB ....like the rest of the sports.

I'm sure the ACC would love to accommodate ND in that respect. Now go do it and stop making ridiculous statements that the conference is ignoring them. I'm still laughing over that.
