This afternoon's series finale was postponed after eight innings, with U of L leading 13-2. Bad weather kept the game from being restarted.
Brown University presumably had travel connections on Sunday that couldn't be changed (moved earlier). I'm giving their coach the benefit of the doubt... If they're in town anyway, they want to finish the game. All three outs of it.
I hardly see much value for either team to go to this trouble. Anyone know how much the umpiring crew can take matters into their own hands? Some of those guys may have to travel as well.
