are having better success early on than those beginning the season with marque games. This may be that those teams are able to get better results early on for solidifying their teams and is not an uncommon practice. At this point the Cards are a NEW team admitted to the ACC and already has upgraded its schedule and not quite ready for marque games like Auburn's and Alabama's! Yes it is nice, particularly if you WIN those marque's games, but IMO detrimental to a team that loses them this early in the season. I felt this but held my peace as others have hoping for a more positive result. AS said previously, it is JMO. I do love my Cardinals and want only the best for them. We are a P-5 team now and must be very careful how we tread through a very tricky minefield full of mines! GO CARDS!!

When a team is prepared it can face anybody and look like they belong. We didn't look like a well rehearsed team yesterday. In every phase of the game we looked lost.

That is coaching, not schedule!!!

OP I do not disagree, in fact, I agree. Many programs ease into the season. It's a way to work on problems.

There's a happy medium.

Teams that have issues that took down cupcakes may get their reality check later rather than sooner.
