Don't understand. They're "good", but they're going to "flame out"?
... When the ACC expands again, I suspect Cincinnati to be on the short list.
Yeah I think eventually we are going to see 4 super conferences with each having 18 members. The ACC, the SEC, the B1G, and the PAC12. I believe the B12 days are numbered.I miss the UL-UC rivalry. But ACC expanding? Again? Is it going to encompass every team east of the Mississippi?
It's so hard to judge UC since - who do they play? What's the level of competition? Same questions as people used to ask about UL in the days of the Metro, etc.All that being said, I'd love to see UC play deep into March. (and meet UL in the final 4, if UL gets it's act together).
I wish Kentucky stilled played Cincy too. Plus Cal and Cronin don't vibe well would make for interesting tv.I miss the UL-UC rivalry. But ACC expanding? Again? Is it going to encompass every team east of the Mississippi?

Cronin has the Bearcats playing very well. If they flame out early, it would be a surprise. When the ACC expands again, I suspect Cincinnati to be on the short list.
