This situation tells us the Steelers put up with a lot. Brown's behavior in Oakland was just straight up bizarre, so I can't laugh off any conspiracy theories. What will add fuel to those theories is if he's a model citizen the rest of the way.

I understand guys take a stand when they want to get paid, but he had a monster salary.

As a Steelers fan I am glad they dumped him, I don't care if it cost them a few games this season, he was not worth the headache, my money says he won't last in New England unless he gets off social media, they will dump him if he doesn't.

You just KNEW New England was going to throw money at Brown. I agree with you that he is a clown. He pulled this same type of crap in Pittsburgh too. They did a great job of keeping out of the public eye. The clown is very talented but that doesn't give him the right to act like a asshat all the time.

Agreed.
Alot of professional players across the big 3 sports, have done or said foolish things. Brown wont be the last.

1, he lost faith in Pittsburgh winning a title, so he forced he way out.
2. NE brass gave him the blueprint to get out of Oakland. Act crazy. He may say stupid crap, but he'll rein in the antics now that he"s in Boston.
3. Now players are see New E as the NBA sees GS. Cant beat them, join them.
